- Where It All Started
Phi Tutoring began long before it became a business.
“I want to help people understand mathematics.”
That desire never disappeared.
From school through university, mathematics remained a central part of my journey. I went on to study Mechanical Engineering (B.Eng & M.Eng) and later completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, specialising in Mathematics and Mechanical Technology education.
Over time, one thing became increasingly clear:
Many students do not struggle because they lack ability — they struggle because mathematics is often taught too quickly, too abstractly, and without enough structure.
Phi Tutoring was built to help bridge that gap.

I believe students should understand why something works — not simply memorise steps.

I believe mathematics reflects the precision and order built into creation — and Phi Tutoring exists to help students discover that order with confidence.

My goal is simple:
